Honest Brook Music Festival

Past Seasons Highlights

The Honest Brook Music Festival has enjoyed the pleasure of presenting many fine young and established musicians to our audience in both the Delaware County area and New York City. We have had the unique opportunity to host rising artists such as The Jupiter String Quartet (2003, 2004 and 2005); Duo Hammel-Sanchez (now Duo Scarbó), piano duo (2003, 2004 & 2007); Janaki String Trio (Winter 2007); Chu-Fang Huang, piano (2006); and Alexandre Pirojenko, piano (2005).

In addition we have been fortunate to present many well-known artists such as The Shanghai Quartet (1997, 1999, 2001 and 2006); The Saint Lawrence String Quartet (1992 & 1998); Sharon Robinson, cello (1997 & 2005); Goldina-Loumbrozo, duo piano (1998 & 2001); Trio Solisti (2004); the Laredo-Robinson Duo (2006) and last summer The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio (2007).

Our audiences have been able to hear these artists up-close and personal in the rural setting of our preserved dairy barn, as well as the warm and intimate settings of private homes throughout Delaware and Otsego counties; and New York City.
