FOUR CONCERTS IN THE SUMMER SEASON
The Honest Brook Music Festival was started in 1989 and has become a fixture of the classical music scene in Delaware County and the surrounding area during the past 35 years, giving concerts annually each summer except for the summer of 2020 when the concert season had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The concerts are held in a converted dairy barn, and both the artists and the audience enjoy its warm, resonant acoustics. Artists have regularly commented on how wonderful it is to perform in the barn before the festival’s receptive audience.
The festival prides itself on the number of young, unknown artists it has presented at the beginning of their performing careers who have become internationally known artists. This summer’s artist lineup is evidence of that philosophy.
For our 2025 Summer Season we begin with two Saturday concerts starting at 4pm featuring cellist Anita Graef and pianist Nathan Canfield on Saturday, July 12 followed by pianist Kiron Tellian on July 19. Our two Sunday concerts, also starting at 4pm, will feature Trio Brillante on August 3 followed by Cuarteto Latinoamericano on August 10. Because many of our artists are young and “unknown” our audience members are able to say when the same artists become internationally acclaimed, “We heard them first at the Honest Brook Music Festival.”
We look forward to seeing for our 2025 Summer Season.
We will continue with no physical tickets however all seats (first come, first serve) will need to be reserved in advance.
